Orange Peel and Orlando Memory

Orange Peel is a great way to improve from the inside. Constantly having new ideas posted and knowing there is a place available for ideas keeps the library having an alive feeling, instead of feeling stagnant.

Orlando Memory is also a large collaborative work. Much like the crime data base that was started in Brazil (from that 16 min speech from last week), it is something that is too large and cumbersome to gather all the information. It is simply better (and more authentic I might add) to build it from scratch from people who actually live in Orlando. Otherwise, special interest groups, businesses, and all those other people with agendas to push will put a slant on it in order to turn them a profit. This way businesses can add photos, but they are equal shareholders with all the other regular Joe's out there. :)
